Through the Y O U t h D r i ve project, we launched our YouTube channel and published videos showing the current state of the environment in the cross-border areas of the Bay of Kotor and the West Herzegovina Canton. The goal of the project team was to approach the end viewer to see the problem of the situation around them in terms of the environment and the need to protect the environment, and biodiversity to survive life on the planet and to protect the health of each individual. The videos were created due to insufficient awareness of the need to protect the environment for present generations and generations to come. Unique staff from the municipalities of Tivat, Kotor, Herceg Novi, Grude, Široki Brijeg, Ljubuški, and Posušje can be seen on our website or YouTube channel.
Raising environmental awareness and initiating concrete actions in the West Herzegovina Canton and Bay of Kotoris carried out within the project “YOUth drive” through the IPA Cross-border Cooperation Program Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro, funded by the European Union in the amount of over 270,000.00 EUR. The project partners are non-governmental organizations, the Association for Development, Environment and Culture EKO ZH from Široki Brijeg (BiH) as the project holder and Naša akcija, based in Kotor (CG). The project began with the implementation of activities in November 2019, and will last until August 2021.
